Fees for changes to initial registration
Payable to the Registrar/Superintendent Registrar:
- Forename(s) added or changed within 12 months of birth registration - £40.00
- Consideration by the Registrar/Superintendent Registrar of a correction to a birth or death record - £75.00
- Consideration by the Registrar General of a correction to a birth, death, marriage or civil partnership record - £90.00
- Consideration by a Superintendent Registrar of a divorce or civil partnership dissolution obtained outside the British Isles - £50
- Consideration by the Registrar General of a divorce or civil partnership dissolution obtained outside the British Isles - £75
Registrars will advise on the various circumstances in which these fees will be payable.
