We work in partnership with a number of companies to deliver services.

Caerphilly Public Services Board (PSB)

The new Caerphilly Public Services Board (PSB) brings public bodies together to work to improve the economic, social, environmental and cultural well-being of Caerphilly county borough. They are responsible, under the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act, for overseeing the development of the new Local Wellbeing Plan which is a long term vision for the area.

Caerphilly Public Services Board has four statutory member organisations responsible for carrying out their well-being duties under the Act.

  • Natural Resources Wales
  • South Wales Fire and Rescue Service

and must invite other public bodies to be part of the board to support them. The PSB can also invite other bodies who share their aims and who can help deliver the Local Wellbeing Plan.

  • Gwent Police
  • National Probation Service
  • Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent

Cardiff Capital Region City Deal

Cardiff City Deal is an agreement between the UK Government, the Welsh Government and the ten local authorities that make up the Cardiff Capital Region City Deal, and will see significant investment in the area.

Community Safety Partnership

The Safer Caerphilly Community Safety Partnership is a joint, statutory partnership between Caerphilly County Borough Council, Gwent Police, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, South Wales Local Fire and Rescue Authority and National Probation Service.

The partnership works with other local partners to reduce levels of crime and disorder, anti social behaviour, substance misuse and fear of crime in the local area.

Gwent Safeguarding

Gwent Safeguarding brings together the Gwent-wide Adult Safeguarding Board and the South East Wales Safeguarding Children Board.

Twinning

You've probably noticed road signs proclaiming "...twinned with..." throughout the county borough. But what does it mean?

The term "twinning" is the means by which we describe a special relationship between two communities, usually in different countries, where those communities have identified common interests and hopes.

Caerphilly Business Forum

This is the leading business network in the county borough. It gives a voice for the business community and acts as an independent lobbying organisation representing businesses in the local area at regional and national level. It provides an important interface with the local authority and has close working relations with the Business Enterprise Support Team.

Regional Partnership Board

The Greater Gwent Health, Social Care and Well-being Partnership Board is a key partnership body; established to lead and guide the implementation of the Social Services and Well Being (Wales) Act 2014 in the Greater Gwent area (covering the areas of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen), sitting within the footprint of the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board area.
