Polling station review
Section 17 of the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013 introduced a duty on local authorities to ‘carry out and complete’ reviews of polling districts and polling places. The next compulsory review must be started and completed between 1 October 2018 and 31st January 2020.
To comply with this duty the review in the Caerphilly County Borough will be conducted between 12 August 2019 and 13 December, 2019.
The review will seek to establish how suitably placed the polling stations are within each electoral area making specific reference to both disability and accessibility issues.
