Caerphilly Families First
The Families First Programme provides a range of services to support families, with children aged 0 - 25 years, who live in Caerphilly County Borough.
Childcare Offer for Wales
Under the Childcare Offer for Wales, you could claim up to 30 hours of early education and childcare in Wales per week, for up to 48 weeks of the year.
The scheme aims to make life a bit easier for parents/carers by providing support with childcare costs.
Family Information Service
The Family Information Service (FIS) is a free impartial information and advice service for ALL parents / carers of children and young people aged between 0-20 and the professionals who work with them.
Find your nearest foodbank
If you're struggling to feed your family your local foodbank can provide emergency food and support in a crisis.
Free School Meals
Free school meals are available to eligible pupils who attend school full-time.
PDG Access Grant
Get £225 (except for year 7 which is £300) to buy school uniform, equipment, sports kit and kit for activities outside of school for your child.
The pupil development grant scheme for the 2022/23 academic year will begin on 1 July 2022 and end on 30 June 2023.
School Travel Passes
This information applies to children aged 4 - 18 (Reception Class to year 13).

Citizens Advice Bureau (Wales)
The Citizens Advice Service give people the knowledge and confidence they need to find their way forward - whoever they are, and whatever their problem.
They provide confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free.
The service designed to help people who are most in need of advice services, particularly those who would not usually seek advice.
