How your views have shaped Active Travel
Posted on : 19 Aug 2021
Earlier this year a public consultation was launched to seek the views of residents about the barriers faced during their everyday walking or cycling journeys.
The comments informed the creation of the final consultation of route plans that illustrate existing and future routes for walking and cycling for everyday journeys. Residents are invited to have their say on the proposed routes.
Cllr. James Pritchard Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Infrastructure and Property said, “I would like to thank those who participated in the previous consultations to allow us to get to this stage. We really want to understand the proposals that will make a real difference to residents.”

Your comments will help us to improve the final Active Travel Network Map.
This final phase for the statutory consultation will be available online for twelve weeks until 05 November 2021.
It is currently anticipated that Caerphilly County Borough Council will submit the plans after the statutory consultation closes to Welsh Ministers in December 2021 for approval.
