Have your say on the review of Statement of Licensing Policy under the Gambling Act 2005

Caerphilly County Borough Council have recently launched a public consultation to review the Statement of Licensing Policy under the Gambling Act 2005.
The Authority is required to consult upon a revised Statement of Licensing Policy under the Gambling Act 2005 every three years.
The Gambling Policy provides advice and guidance to applicants and licence holders and details the approach that will be taken by the Licensing Authority when considering new applications and the expectations of existing licence and permit holders under the Gambling Act.
The consultation period started on Friday 23rd August and will end on Tuesday 24th September running for a period of four weeks. Please complete the online survey or alternatively, paper copies can be made available on request.
The findings will be considered by the Licensing & Gambling Committee in the Autumn, with a view to placing before Full Council for a decision in January 2025.
