Students celebrate AS and A-Level Results Day
Students, schools and colleges across Caerphilly County Borough have been celebrating AS and A-Level results today, Thursday 15th August.
 
This significant milestone in the academic journey of young learners is the beginning of a new chapter in each of their lives. Many will now move onto further education by attending University or search for employment opportunities and apprenticeships.
 
Cllr Carol Andrews, Cabinet Member for Education, commented on this year’s fantastic results: “A huge congratulations to all the students who have collected either their AS or A-Level Results this morning. I know you have all worked hard and I hope you are pleased with what you have accomplished. I wish you all the best when deciding what path you are going to follow for the future”.
 
Keri Cole, Chief Education Officer, highlighted the collective efforts of all educators who have contributed to yet another successful school year. “A-Level Examination Results Day represents the continuous hard work which takes places place behind the scenes and within our classrooms every day.
 
I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to making this year yet another successful year for all our students across the borough. A huge congratulations to each one of you who is celebrating results today”.
 
Caerphilly County Borough Council is very proud of the efforts of our learners this year and wishes every student the best in their next endeavours. GCSE Results will be announced on Thursday 22nd August.
