The popular ‘One Beat’ event returns to Blackwood
Posted on : 28 Nov 2022
Third Sector Voluntary Organisations contribute around £3.8 billion to the Welsh economy each year, and the Caerphilly County Borough has over four hundred active voluntary organisations providing a diverse range of projects, services, events and activities for our communities, right across the County Borough.
This year, Blackwood Methodist Church will be hosting the Caerphilly County Borough’s prestigious ‘One Beat’ voluntary sector networking and showcase event on Friday 2 December.
Organised by the Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations (GAVO) in partnership with Caerphilly County Borough Council, the event will run from 10am – 3pm and showcases the amazing work that third sector, voluntary organisations do, and highlights how they make a significant difference in our communities.
This is a unique opportunity for residents to find out how they can get involved and support the work of local voluntary organisations or discover what opportunities and support may be on offer to them, locally.
If you are part of a voluntary organisation and are interested in hosting a stall or would like further information contact Gina Jones on 07483 128085 or email
