Caerphilly Council seeks residents to join Standards Committee

Caerphilly County Borough Council is seeking residents willing to help secure the highest ethical standards in local government.
The Council is looking for 2 people who live within the county borough to serve as members of its Standards Committee dealing with ethical issues arising out of the Council’s work and hearing complaints from the public about such matters.
Please note the regulations preclude the appointment of a person who has been employed by the Council or was an elected member or a person who is a relative or close friend of an elected member or employee of the Council.

A daily allowance of £210.00 and a half daily allowance of £105.00 is payable up to a maximum of 10 meetings per year.
The closing date for applications is noon on 27 October 2022.
