Sport Caerphilly
Sport Caerphilly Sport Development department supports participants of all ages to take part in sport in a variety of settings.
We run a variety of programmes varying from School Sport, Community Programmes, Physical Literacy, Sport Specific Sessions, Disability Sport, Positive Futures and Sport Schemes/Camps during school holidays.
We support provision and opportunity of sport within the borough to assist more people, more active, more often.
What can volunteers do?
- Assisting during Sport Schemes/Sport Camps.
- Volunteer and support school and community events such as Caerphilly 10k or sport specific competitions and festivals.
- Assist with community sessions in the evenings (3-6 year old Tots sessions or Positive Futures Outreach sessions).
- Assist in variety of roles during sessions, camps or events such as supporting coaches, working with specific participants, referring, scorekeeping and coaching.
What can you expect from us?

- Volunteer Induction
- Volunteer Kit
- Support and Mentoring from Sport Development Officers
- Safeguarding upskilling and First Aid (if required)
- Potential opportunities to attend sport specific courses
