Cwmaber Infants and Juniors School achieve the Bronze and Silver Cymraeg Campus Award

Cwmaber Infants School has successfully achieved the Bronze Cymraeg Campus Award, with the Juniors earning the silver for their commitments towards promoting the Welsh language.
Cymraeg Campus is a Language Charter that is used to promote the use of the Welsh language throughout the school, across the Curriculum and in all areas of school life.
Cwmaber Infants School will now begin their first steps in working towards achieving the silver award.
The Cymraeg Campus assessor said, “Diolch yn fawr for the croeso cynnes this afternoon and llongyfarchiadau once again for achieving the Cymraeg Campus Bronze award to such a high standard. It was a pleasure to visit Ysgol Babanod Cwmaber and see all your fantastic work. The children were BENDIGEDIG!”
Cwmaber Junior School have attained their silver Cymraeg Campus Award after previously receiving their bronze award and are now hoping to gain their gold award in the future.
Cllr Carol Andrews, Cabinet Member for Education said, “Receiving the bronze and silver Cymraeg Campus Awards is an amazing achievement for both Cwmaber Infants and Juniors, it is wonderful to see pupils eager to learn and use the Welsh language in school.”
