Caerphilly Council reminds contract holders (tenants) to update contact details
Posted on : 14 Dec 2022
Caerphilly County Borough Council’s housing service, Caerphilly Homes, is asking its contract holders (tenants) to ensure the contact details it holds for them are up to date.
This comes further to the implementation of the Renting Homes (Wales) Act on 1st December 2022 which saw all tenancies converted to an ‘occupation contract’.
Council tenants do not need to do anything else as their current tenancy automatically converted to the new contract. However, contract holders need to ensure their contact details are up to date so that the Council can send them copies of their new contract. Contracts are expected to be sent out in early 2023.
Letters have been sent to all Council contract holders, along with a form for them to complete and return. Alternatively, contract holders can fill in a
brief form on the Council’s website
.
Council contract holders with queries, or who require assistance, can call 01443 811434 / 33 / 32 or email
rentinghomes@caerphilly.gov.uk
