Time is running out to apply for Winter Fuel Support scheme
Caerphilly County Borough Council is reminding eligible residents that time is running out to apply for the Winter Fuel Support scheme.

The deadline for applications to the Welsh Government funded scheme is 28 February. 

Through the Winter Fuel Support scheme eligible households can claim a one-off £200 payment to provide support towards paying their winter fuel bills. 

The scheme is open to households where one member is in receipt of working age means-tested benefits at any time between 1 December 2021 and 31 January 2022.  This could include Income support, Income Related Employment and Support allowance, Universal Credit, Income Based Job Seeker’s Allowance or Working Tax Credits.
