Survey shows 76% of Caerphilly Homes tenants satisfied with housing service
The results of a satisfaction survey undertaken by Caerphilly County Borough Council with all its tenants (contract holders) has shown that 76% of those who responded are satisfied with the overall housing service provided to them.

Of the 3,036 Caerphilly Homes tenants who replied to the survey, 81% said they were satisfied with the safety and security of their home and 77% were happy with their neighbourhood as a place to live.

When asked whether they thought the rent they pay offers value for money 76% of respondents said that they did.  Of the tenants who replied to the survey 79% said that they found Caerphilly Homes easy to deal with and 73% said they trusted the landlord.

Cllr Shayne Cook, the Council’s Cabinet Member for Housing, said “Our tenant’s views are vital in helping us continuously improve our housing service and I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the survey; the response to the last survey was the highest to date.

“Whilst the survey shows areas where we’re working well, it has also helped highlight the priorities of tenants and elements of service delivery where improvements are needed.”

An overview of the survey results has been sent to all Caerphilly Homes tenants, it can also be found here.
