June has a fresh new look, brand new equipment and an improved gym floor layout. A range of new cardio equipment including rowers, air bikes and ski erg as well as new resistance machines and free weights have created a first-class facility.
The new facilities will benefit students at Heolddu Comprehensive School, the local community and new and existing Leisure lifestyle members. Heolddu Leisure Centre is also home to a 25 meter swimming pool, health suite and water and dry exercise class programme.
Cllr Chris Morgan, cabinet member for Leisure commented, “The fantastic investment in Heolddu Leisure Centre provides the best facilities and more opportunities to inspire students and the community to get involved in sport and fitness.
