Caerphilly County Borough Council will be undertaking essential flood alleviation works on St Cenydd Close, Caerphilly (start date 28th October 2023).

These works comprise replacement of the existing kerbs with kerb drainage units, some resurfacing and a connection to the main surface water system within St Cenydd Road. 

A road closure will be installed on St Cenydd Close for the duration of the works with access provided for local residents. 

Traffic controlled signals will be required on St Cenydd Road for a short period to allow connection of the new system to the existing. This section of works has been planned to coincide with the school holiday period to minimise disruption as much as possible.
