The Caerphilly County Borough Council's Business, Enterprise and Renewal Team proudly announces the successful completion of its recent seminar, 'Developing Your International Trade'. This event brought together local businesses eager to explore opportunities in international markets and solidly positioned Caerphilly as a hub for trade growth.
The seminar provided valuable insights and practical tips for businesses at every stage of their international trade journey, whether they were new to exporting or looking to expand their existing operations. Attendees were equipped with a wealth of information to effectively navigate the complexities of international markets.
The program featured a lineup of expert speakers who shared their knowledge and experience, including:
Emma Richards, a representative from the UK’s Intellectual Property Office, who has dedicated over 25 years to helping SMEs protect their innovations and navigate intellectual property challenges.
Karen George, a Risk Advisor from Thomas Carroll Group PLC, specializing in trade credit insurance, who discussed the importance of managing financial risks in international trade.
Sarah Gaze, Caerphilly County Borough Council's International Trade Officer, who provided insights on the support available to local businesses seeking to expand their international reach.
Feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the seminar as an essential resource for local businesses aiming to grow their international trade efforts.
"We are thrilled with the turnout and the engagement from our local businesses," said Adam Sadler, Principal Business Development Officer. "The success of this seminar demonstrates the importance of providing our businesses with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive in the global market. We are committed to supporting the growth of international trade in Caerphilly and look forward to organizing more events in the future."
