Play in the park

Play in the park is a series of free open access play sessions that run throughout the summer holidays across Caerphilly County Borough.

Come along and enjoy arts, crafts, sports and plenty more fun activities with your families free of charge. In 2023, we saw 2000 children and their families enjoying rich meaningful play experiences and we’re really excited to see what this summer brings!

  • 7 August 10am – 2.30pm Morgans Jones Park
  • 9 August 10am – 2.30pm Bargoed Park
  • 13 August 10am – 2.30pm Abertridwr Library
  • 15 August 10am – 2.30pm Rhymney Eisteddfod field
  • 20 August 10am – 2.30pm Ystrad Park
  • 22 August 10am – 2.30pm Waunfawr Park
  • 27 August 10am – 2.30pm Blackwood Showfield
