Ystrad Mynach Spring Fair deemed a great success

The ‘Ystrad Mynach Spring Fair’ saw a whopping 6,400 visitors descend on the town centre.

The event was deemed a ‘great success’ with a number of traders selling out by early afternoon. Children had great fun on the funfair rides and the street entertainment had visitors in fits of giggles.

The Spring event transformed the town centre with approximately 25 food and craft stalls, a selection of children’s funfair rides and some fantastic street theatre entertainment.

Ystrad Mynach has a lovely selection of independent stores and offers a variety of eating out venues throughout the town; the event saw local retailers benefitting from the increase in footfall with over 5,000 more visitors to the town than the previous Saturday.
