Cllr Elaine Forehead, cabinet member for social care said “I am so pleased that everyone in the Shared Lives team is being recognised for their hard work in creating an award-winning support service.

The Shared Lives Scheme is an invaluable resource that gives vulnerable people the help they need in a warm and dignified way and these awards show just how important it is.

The scheme would not be possible without the wonderful carers who share their time, home and communities with the people they support, and I would like to thank every carer for their vital role in supporting those in need.”
